		2006, Monthly Magazine ! Yes its time … I received plenty of Mail asking about news or happening in Paris, So my good 2006 resolution will be to fulfil this small monthly magazine. It is said, known ! and Happy New Year to you, all over the world ! January 01, 2006 You still got few hours... Before the start of the French sales, come to contemplate, as we us to say in paris, “les vitrines de noel des galleries Lafayette”. As every true Parisian you must do it... OK, ok why starting with this topic ? just because of my nephew, he like to see it each years and hopefully we do too... January 06, 2006 Frozen atmosphere : The highest ice skating rink of Paris The highest ice skating rink of Paris, 57 meters above the “champs de Mars”, on the platform of the 1st stage of the Eiffel Tour, the skating rink is open every days until February 1, 2006. Access to the skating rink is free for the visitors of the monument and the shoes are lent. During the evening, a smooth lighting and the sparkling of the Eiffel Tower take part in the magic of the places! (it is open until 23h!). An amusing anecdote is that during middle age the one who get the beans (la féve) must paid a drink to everybody... Some guys didn't want to pay every body a drink and eat the beans. then everyone went to se the backery to ask why there is no beans ? On day a exceeded baker fed up of this complains has the idea to put a non edible beans, that why nowaday we get a porcelain beans...
